Welcome to my blog on living life with Celiac Disease and doing my best on maintaining a gluten-free life.
I was diagnosed with Celiac in April 2006 and my life has never been the same. I've had my good days and bad days, but overall I do have to say it's more good days then bad. I'm much more aware now of what I am putting into my body. I'm much more aware of eating healthier. And my body is much happier now that it can absorb nutrients and I am able to gain weight.
This blog is going to be a random collection of ideas, thoughts, recipes, postings on what products I find are gluten-free and of course rants. It's not always easy maintaining a gluten-free lifestyle, and eating out is a big challenge for me. That's one of my frustrations but I am slowly learning the ropes.
I welcome your comments and e-mails and wish you all good health.
(P.S. - the above picture is one of my favorites. I took this picture of the sun rising on the island of Kauai when I was having POG (Passion Orange Guava) mimosas on the beach with my best friend and partner, David.
